' Live ' at the Historic ! - Powerful !! & Awesome !!! Grateful Dead performance at Rich Stadium ( Home of NFL Buffalo Bills ! ) on July 4th, 1989 ( 7/4/89 ) !!!  This was one of the Happiest " 4th's " Ever ! that many Deadheads can remember in their Entire-Lives ! - not only the ones who were lucky enough to be there - but also to the loyal Dead Fan masses who weren't ... as it this Show has ( ' finally ' ) been offered on this Glorious ! 2-CD Set !! - just 15-Years after the Show !  So Incredibly-Awesome !!  It is arguable ( and very-convincingly arguable ! ) that 7/4/89 may have been the " Strongest ! " Dead Show of the Fabulous ! 1989 Summer Tour !!  I must admit that at times ( often ) ... I think I'm on the boat with this claim - definitely either this July 4th Night !  Or possibly the 7/7/89 Philly Show ! - the 7/13/89 RFK Show ! ... or possibly the Alpine Show(s) !?  Regardless, this is the Grateful Dead undoubtedly flexing their collective musical muscles - with Every Band Member ! giving all they've got - their Heart ! & Soul !!  Just Completely ! Smokin'-Hot stuff here my fellow Dead Fans ! - and if you haven't heard This-One ??  My goodness are your Ears ! & Mind !! in for a Treat ! among Treats !!  It is so crazy & wild to think - and really put into perspective that Buffalo ( even Rick Stadium ) was fortunate enough to get Two ( 2 ) !! of these Monumental " 4th of Ju~ly Dead-Shows !?!  Both 7/4/89 ! and also 7/4/86 !! which may possibly have been the ' Hottest-Show ' overall from that '86 Summer Tour as-well !!?!  I mean ... it actual was !  Really wild, I mean seriously - just think Cold Rain > Fire !!! from that-one !!  And as for this-one here ?  Just pretty much think ... the ' Whole-Show ! '.  They are just that " On !!! " ... as You'll be listening to this-one time & time again !  So, if you can't already tell - yes, I am a self-proclaimed 1980's Grateful Dead addict ! - and I especially live for that extra-special 1989-90 period too !  So, at least to my Ears & Mind - this is one of the Very-Best ! '80's-Dead ! CD Set releases of All-Time ! - and we should all be So-Very-Thankful !! that this ( " finally " ) happened.  Sort of like a mini ' Dream-Come-True ! ' for Dead Fans.  Simply put ... this " Truckin' Up To Buffalo July 4, 1989 ! " 2-CD Set is an ' Absolute ! ' Grateful Dead Treasure !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
