Vintage Diecast Wind-Up Morgan 3-Wheel Sports Car,
 Castle Art, (Gaiety) 1940’s. AF.
 
A nice vintage diecast clockwork Morgan 3-Wheel Sports
Car with a heavy diecast chrome plated body and front
engine detail, cast wheels and replacement black steering
wheel, made by Castle Art under their Gaiety Toys
label, Model No; 850429, in the 1940’s.
. 
The car measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 wide (across
front wheels) and 1.5 inches tall, and is marked underneath
with “Gaiety Toy Reg No. 850429”, “A Castle Art
Product”, “Birmingham England” and with the
Castle Art Trade Mark. It is in good used condition
 with some playwear and pitting to the chrome, the
clockwork motor starts to wind (key not supplied – a
 Chad Valley Wee-Kin key fits), but then slips if
wound further and needs attention to work.
