This stunning charger by Charlotte Rhead for Burley Ware features a beautiful, tube-lined Wind Tossed Tulips design, with stylised flowers in blue and pink. The central panel, the leaves and the rim are finished in a lovely sea-green lustre. It is large, with a diameter of 37 cm and is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. A rare shape to find, especially in such good order. The back is printed with 'Bursley Ware', Charlotte Rhead's signature mark, the pattern number TL76 and the tube-liner/decorator's mark.
