This wonderful  medium-sized post-modern ceramic bowl was hand crafted by artist Raza Saldaitis in her Florida studio.  She has been creating versatile and decorative ceramic treasures for over 30 years.  The bowl features a bright orange and red fish in the center on a background of ivory with pale blue swirls.  The stylistic rim of the bowl is pale blue (with a Greek key-style design) and cotton candy pink.  The "wrapped" handles are a moss green with a mottled green-rust base (see photos).  Edging and design on the back of the bowl is a deep teal green, also on an ivory background.  I don't know the exact age of the piece, but would estimate 1990s based on the style and color palette.

This one of a kind bowl measures about 14 inches in diameter, handle-to-handle, at the widest point across the top (see photo).  It is approximately 3 inches deep with a gentle concave curve.  It's a great cabinet / shelf-friendly size that will also work well in many spaces as decor.  As a bonus, this piece is functional as well as decorative!  It has been double-fired (in a kiln) with a food-safe ceramic glaze, so it's also a great option for serving food, fruit, or vegetables.  There's a twist-tie loop (see photo) on the back of the piece that's a hanger, so it can be displayed as art on the wall, a counter, or shelf.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The colors are bright and vibrant.
