The sculpture "The Way (or Path) to the Stars" is an exact copy of the famous monument in Moscow, Russia. The powerful figure of a young athlete looking up is the dream of a man looking at the stars embodied in bronze. In his hands is the creation of the human mind and hands - a rocket that will help people overcome cosmic distances and comprehend them. The monument was erected in the park in 1958, a year after the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite and three years before Yuri Gagarin's flight into space. Manufactured at the Mykolaiv shipyard (at that time USSR, now Ukraine) ("NIMOR" ). The sculpture bears the manufacturer's stamp and the price at that time.

Sculpture in a vintage condition with signs of the times. It is still in a very good condition. No sign of damage. Sold as-is, as depicted in the picture.It has been on display for many years. It has some minor abrasions and minimal areas of barely visible discoloration in places. It just needs a bit of detailed cleaning. Please, take a look at the photos provided.
