Lovers of 1980's Dead ?!!  Well, ' Fall-In ' Right Here !, Right-Now !! ' ... just like Bobby Weir's Buddy Sammy Hagar ! used to once say !!  Hah !!!  So, yes indeed - as here is Your ! chance to ' make-good ' with yourself and replace, ( I mean don't ' get rid of them ' - just " digitally-upgrade " ), your ( hopefully Very ! ) well-worn analogs from the nothing-short of Legendary ! 3/31/88 & 4/1/88 Meadowlands Shows in Good Ol' East Rutherford, New Jersey -- " The Meadowlands " !!!  Sure-shot " Analog-Collection " Staples ! for many a Dead Fan ... and a couple of " Must-Haves ! " in those sacred Napa Valley wood-grain Tape-Slots !  Classic ...  For some Deadheads, this was the end of the " True-Live ! " Grateful-Dead-Sound !! -- the very-final days of U.S. Tours in the pre-MIDI ( multi-digital-interphase ) Era.  In other words, back then - people in every seat would hear the pure analog sound delivered right through the cones in the Amps !, just like the Band would hear through the monitors.  Basic/standard string instrument effects - ( plus distortion - overdrive - phase shifter - analog delay - octave divider, - etc. ), pure Rock n' Roll equipment without any synthetic instrument sounds like flute - clarinet - trumpet, etc.. ( especially Jerry & Bob i.e. during Space ! ).  Personally, I thought Jerry Garcia found his home & arguably his finest-tone ever when he loaded up on the hearty Boss ( Roland ) Equipment in the 80's ( OD-1 / OC-2 / HM-2 etc. ), and this 1988 Spring Tour marks the very end of that Original / Vintage ( whole-hearted ! ) 1980's pre-MIDI sound.  However, on a lighter & much more serious note ( April Fools !! ) . . .  This-Here ! is Indeed !!! Bobby Weir in his finest Powerhouse ! " 80's Prime ", as he Definitely ! swoops-in to tries to break the finish-line tape & steal the Show ! on this April Fools '88 night.  Whoa !  To put it bluntly, this one is one for all of the " Ace-Lovers ! " out there !!!  Seriously ... but, not-just ! ... as the whole darn Grateful Dead is " Bringin' It " !!!  Believe it, or not !  Whoa !!!!!  My advice, ( as this is indeed the ' ballpark ' that I like to play in ) ... Get it !  You'll absolutely love this one, and you'll even get a few good laugh out of it too ! ... Many !!  One thing is true ... they just don't make Bands ! like ' This ' Anymore !!!  The Good Ol' ((( Late-'80's !!! ))) Grateful Dead !!!!!  This is the stuff that I myself  live-for people.  Why not take some chances, and Bring the Heat ! in Jersey ... because as you'll see ( & Hear ! ) here - if you have yet-to ... the Payoffs are just Huge !!!  Wow ...
