Made by Dave from YouTube's Crafted Channel. I own many Atlas lathes on which to test my parts. I have run plastic parts including my ABS gears since 2015. I can make big cuts never breaking any teeth or bushings.

Photo 1: The item you are buying. You get 1. This is one of my newest parts and until it's proven, I describe these as for temporary emergency use. Often the factory part will not be available for months or even a year. This gear is attached to the back wall of the reverse gearbox and idles (transfers power) between the two bevel gears on the lead screw. You must stop the lathe fully before shifting. Not even the metal part will survive an animal at the controls. Think!

The Idler Bevel Gear runs between the two lead screw bevel gears and is mounted to the inside of the reverse gear case.) LATHE NOT INCLUDED. EXAMPLE SHOWN FOR FIT IDENTIFICATION ONLY.

I apologize for all the warnings. Even though I am clear, at least once a month I get a person who thinks they are getting or are going to force me to send them a $1000 lathe or item in background, or other item used as prop or to show fit of my part. People don't read. Don't be that guy please.
