TESTED  Top Roof Latch Lock Drive Actuator Motor BMW E36 E46 E64 Convertible

This Genuine BMW convertible top latch actuator motor assembly was removed from a BMW E46 3-Series convertible.  The latch motor assembly and bracket are original to 2000-2006 BMW E46 (3 Series) convertible models fitted with Fully Automatic Folding Tops (BMW Option Code: S399A), and is common to earlier BMW E36 and later E64 convertible models as well.

The motor and transmission assembly operates smoothly in both directions.  Motor worm gear components are in good functional condition and were greased prior to reassembly (see final inspection listing photos).
