A historical perspective may be necessary for those not familiar with British colonial West Africa monetary system. British African Currency Board established in London in 1912 controlled the issue and circulation of money across British possessions in the British West Africa area - Nigeria, Ghana, British Cameroon (later merged with French Cameroon), Sierra Leone and Gambia - until the end of 50'th to mid-60'th.

Please note if eBay lists at the top of the page that I am away, I will only be able to ship coins once I return, I have to travel quite a bit for work. I always list the date of the return so that you can decide to buy and wait or buy a different coin. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping by US Postal Services in the US is $2.35, overseas $3.10 uninsured, not tracked and not registered. If you win and would like your item to be sent either registered or insured, please contact me before paying. I combine on multiple wins when paid in single transaction - usually it is 30 cents per additional coin for domestic shipping and 60 cents for international, reasonably capped for weight and shipping method, heavier items will be more.

I am a coin collector getting rid of some of the duplicates or items I bought over years and no longer need. You can find some of my coins here http://omnicoin.com/collection/sandy3075

Each coin is individually scanned, I do not use stock pictures. I ship in plain white envelops and use bio-degradable materials when possible to limit environmental footprint. No forwarding services please without pre-approval and additional cost for registered shipping, otherwise all orders to the forwarding services will be canceled.

Returns are accepted if I send you the wrong item. Always bid on the item that is pictured, description sometimes gets copied from the other coins when I list. My grading or descriptive addition to the grading of the coin condition is subjective and disagreeing with it cannot be the reason for return.
