Condition: No holes visible in the copper when held before a bright light. Almost all tin still present with a few small excpetions. Base unscrews easily and rescrews securely. Below I describe some imperfections of this piece. This list is not necessarily exhaustive but, combined with the photos provided, should give you a good idea of what to expect. If there are specific things that you would like me to look for or provide additional photos of, ask before purchasing, and I would be glad to provide them.
- there are some small spots of missing copper where the swirls terminate on the side of the opening though far less than the size of even a dime if totaled together
- there is a slight indentation on the copper to the left of the stamp and well a few very small dings to the raised swirls closer to the base
- the opening looks to be slightly out of round if viewed head one
- scratches present on copper surface and bas
Shipping: The mold will be packed with with care in a box without movement inside. This piece of history will be treated with the respect that it deserves. Due to changes in temperature and humidity compared to storage, the color of this piece may change in transit.
