Offered this excellent antique Nippon Noritake Morimura hand-painted triangle planter/cache pot. Made in Japan during the early 20th century. The planter is made of porcelain and features a landscape pattern with moriage detailing that perfectly frame the scenes.
It has a painted matte finish and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Because the interior has a high gloss glaze it makes the perfect planter, perhaps for an orchid or small bonsai tree.Or you could just use it as a cache pot.
The planter measures approximately 5.75 inches in length and width, and 4 inches in height. It is a unique piece of Art Nouveau style pottery that weighs 13.2 oz.
The pot is in fine condition no cracks, chips, or other damage.
