Rare Commodore 8250 LP Disk Drive

From my late fathers collection, who collected and restored vintage computers.

This item is untested and is sold as seen without warranty. I won't turn on old machines etc unless they're labeled as tested previously in the workshop.

A Dual disk drive that was sold as a companion to the 80xx-SK range of computers, the LP stands for Low Profile, as the machine is considerably less tall than the 8250.

Like all Commodore disk drives, these drives were “smart” devices. They had their own processor, their own memory, and their own disk operating system.  Basically, a Commodore computer and its disk drive resemble a network.

Collection preferred from Darlington area. However I will ship in the UK and internationally, well packed and insured.
