MODULOS

(Both Songs Sung In Spanish)

SIDE A:     YA NO ME QUIERES

SIDE B:     RECUERDOS

MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original Hispavox Records very first PROMOTIONAL Mono press released by Hispavox Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1969 by Asociación Fonográfica Nacional “ASFONA” M.R. (Asfona Records), licensed from Hispavox Records, Spain, catalog number H-483, with hand etched matrix numbers H 483-BA AA in Side A and H-483-B EB in Side B, with traditional yellow/black Hispavox Records labels of the period and 3-prong push-out center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

Ya No Me Quieres” is the debut single of the Spanish Prog Rock band Módulos, originally released in 1969 in Spain, and the same year it was released here in Chile. Song titles are written in Spanish only, with full credits for songwriter of both songs and play time of each song. If you know this single you could have already noticed that here in Chile the catalog number is the same original Spanish catalog number. In Side it’s the squared Promo stamp “PROPAGANDA – PROHIBIDA SU VENTA” (Propaganda – Sale Forbidden). So, here you have the chance to get and own this single, “Ya No Me Quieres” by Módulos, in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, with yellow Hispavox labels and push-out center, a record almost never seen and maybe now auctioned here in eBay by the very first time!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Módulos and Spanish Prog Rock music of the ‘60’s!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG or VG+ condition both sides, glossy and clean, with loads of scuffs, hairlines and soft scratches, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great EX+ or NM- condition both sides, clear and clean, with some spindle hole wear and faint age browning. The sound is in strong VG+ or even EX- condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and some occasional light clicks here and there, and in VG or VG+ condition the Side B, almost same condition as Side A, but with soft crackles more evident, which don’t cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, maybe not for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but for sure with a very nice glossy look, almost immaculate labels and still with a very decent and respectable sound quality after about 55 years, which shouldn’t disappoint anyone and should satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean single!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
