MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original RCA Records very first Stereo press released by RCA Victor Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1973 by Industria De Radio Y Televisión S.A. (IRT Records), licensed by RCA Italiana, through RCA Corporation, USA, catalog number 94-0751, with hand etched matrix numbers 94-0751-A- EB-C in Side A and 94-0751-B EB-C in Side B, with traditional orange/black RCA Victor Records labels with black “RCA Victor” and solid center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“Occhi Chiari” was originally released in Italy in September 1972 and we had to wait until 1973 to see this single released here in Chile and as usual those years some French and Italian singers also recorded their hits and albums in Spanish and Nicola Di Bari wasn’t the exception and we got this single with both songs sung in Spanish. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to Italian, with full credits for songwriters and Spanish lyricists, and for Gianni Oddi as arranger, with additional information about licenses. As far as I know, this single, with both songs sung in Spanish, was ONLY RELEASED IN CHILE. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE and UNIQUE CHILEAN PRESS of this single by Nicola Di Bari, RELEASED IN CHILE ONLY and with both songs sung in Spanish, a record rarely seen and A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Nicola Di Bari and traditional Italian Pop music of the ‘70’s!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG+ or even EX- condition both sides, glossy and clean, with soft scuffs and light hairlines, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great EX or EX+ condition both sides, clear and clean, with only some spindle hole wear. The sound is in strong EX or EX+ condition the Side A, loud, clear and clean, with a soft background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with minimal and barely audible soft crackles and occasional light clicks here and there, and in VG+ or EX- condition the Side B, with a soft background noise and occasional light crackles and hiss, which don’t cause major distraction from the still loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE and UNIQUE CHILEAN PRESS, with a nice glossy look, almost immaculate labels and great sound quality after about 51 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean single, ONLY RELEASED IN CHILE!!! And don’t forget this is the Italian singer Nicola Di Bari singing two songs in Spanish!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

 

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

GBP18 for weight until 0,5kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl/sleeve)

GBP25 for weight 0,5-1kg (usually 2 to 5 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl/sleeve)

GBP12 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.
