G. WURM HOLIDAY VILLAGE LIGHTED BUILDING / LICHTHAUS

This is a "lichthaus" or lighthouse made by G Wurm of Germany. When they mean is it's a lighted building-- or will be once you set it up in your holiday village with a light inside (not supplied in this listing). On the building's back side, there is a notch in the base to allow for a corded light to go discreetly inside.

Many people mix the G Wurm buildings with Department 56 for a more custom, varied look of your village!
These are the same scale (O Gauge) as Dept 56, as well as colored from the same palette, and are compatible with Dept 56's lights for buildings (electric or battery-powered).

A ratskeller is a beer hall or pub typically in the lower level (cellar) or basement of a building. In many cases, there's an inn upstairs.

If you are the buyer of this listing and for any reason cancel your purchase, you will be charged a $4.00 fee to compensate me for the time I invest in wrapping, boxing, and packaging the item; purchasing and printing out a shipping label, etc. It takes USPS up to two weeks to reimburse me for a label that I don't use. (Even then I still lose money on time and materials wasted. Issues
