Up for auction is a nice looking mid-grade book with good color, good gloss, and cover wear.  The cover is miss-wrapped but lays fairly flat.  The spine shows some wear with several stress lines.  There are no spine splits.  The spine corners both have tiny chips.  There is a small stain in the top right corner that is visible on every page.  There is a small “B” in ink in the title.  There is much wear on the right edge.  There is light tanning on the interior covers.  The back cover is in average condition with two large creases (see photos).  

Important Note:  this copy is restored with multiple color touches on the front cover.  They are easily seen on the inside cover.  I normally don’t buy restored copies but this one is HTF and the cover presents well with rich colors.

Cover is well attached at both staples but both have staple tears.  Centerfold is well attached at both staples.

Note:  once again the cover has little to do with the story!  But it’s a great cover!

This book presents nicely in the Mylar.  This is a complete copy with no missing pages, no coloring, no owner’s name scribbled across the cover, no date stamps (on the cover), no cut-outs or clipped coupons.  All defects listed are allowed in this grade.

This is a nice Golden Age copy in hand that is supple with good color and has some great stories and artwork from Joe Sinnott, Joe Maneely, Ed Goldfarb and a cool cover from Sol Brodsky!  What a lineup!!

I combine shipping by weight so wait for my invoice before paying if buying multiple items.  I only ship to the lower 48 states.  I'll ship Priority Mail for this book.  Shipping cost includes full insurance for Priority Mail.  Books over $750 require a signature for delivery.  I pack securely with cardboard reinforcement in bubble wrap in a box/mailer.  I will ship within two days of payment.  Due to the high cost of shipping I do not accept returns.  This also prevents villains from returning a different book.  As a collector I will do my best to disclose all defects which will affect the grade or desirability.   Payment is expected within 2 days.
