Barbara Bixby Sterling Silver 18K Multi-Gemstone Garuda Bird Enhancer Pendant. Pink rhodolite garnet along the brow and in the flower on the lower feather, blue sapphire eyes with light blue enamel surrounding them, citrine beak with shading of madeira citrines and a white topaz in the center of the 18k flower. The feather dangling below has a solid 18K strip of beaded gold along the center. Truly an amazing and inspirational piece! Excellent, like new condition, worn only once. Will come in a Barbara Bixby box and brocade bag.

There’s an interpretation I enjoy which says that the Garuda devours snakes and swallows the poisons of delusion, jealousy, and hatred, and then is able to transform them into renewed strength, illuminating his body and stretching his wings even more to soar into space.
