This is a 1/9 scale 250 mm  painted bust depicting the Royal Fusiliers, 7th Regiment of Foot cica 1780 from the battle and capture of Charleston, War of Independance.
Striking uniform reflecting one of the dress combinations and for the foot soldier of the period, including the folding backpack and steel water bottle slight variations from tradition.  A fairly standard enigmatic look with a slightly downward gaze.

The figure is made of cast resin and is still produced in the UK by Bonaparte Miniatures,  its a nice sized bust, mounted on a stylised wooden plinth which matches the piece well, please check measurements below.

The piece is 275 mm high from the foot of the base to the top of the Musket, the base is rather dark wood plinth and is 70 mm square at the foot of the base.  It would be prudent to check the shelf dimensions as this is a tall piece, but nothing overhangs the plinth.

The figure has been painted using acrylic paints and is sympathetic towards the subject. Figure is taken from my own private collection.
