DETAILS: Vintage Pietra Dura Grand Tour green stone book paperweight.  This is made from marble and other stone minerals.  Our guess is that this dates from the 20th century and that it was either made in Great Britain or in Italy.  However, we could be mistaken.

MARK/SIGNATURE: unmarked.

CONDITION: In good to very good vintage used condition free from alterations and repairs.  Mentioned for the record, there are a few typical very small nicks and chips to the edges and corners, as well as expected discolorations and signs of age and of use.  The stones have normal natural inclusions and other imperfections. 

The only major flaw is that one black corner has been previously broken off and glued back in place. See last two photos. This is neither obvious nor distracting but can easily be seen under close inspection. 

MEASUREMENTS: Approximate length is 6 1/4 inches by 4 3/8 inches wide. It is 1 1/8 inches thick.
