This
listing is for a mint NOS Cyclo Benelux Mk 7 derailleur with lever and ribbed cable. The Mk
7 was launched in 1957 and was their workhorse rear mech. It was still in production when they launched
the parallelogram-style Super 60 and was still showing in their catalogues in
the early 60’s
This
particular gear is made for use with a 4-speed block (3/32”) or 3-speed (1/8”) block. The lever has the standard damper screw and the cable has a ribbed outer approx 102 CM long. This should be long enough to go from the lever direct to the gear, or cut it short to take the inner cable from chainstay to dropout. Instructions and exploded diagram are also included, but they are photocopies, not original.
I have stored
this gear for many, many years. Condition is new but there is some dirt evident on the non-shiny-bits from the years of storage.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of these gears in such an unused
condition. It's not difficult finding well-used samples of these gears, but NOS ones are less easy to find.
Note shipping
costs, which include the fees that sellers get lumped, even though the costs
are unavoidable.
