On offer is an audio output transformer which has been recovered from an abandoned Sanyo valve radio.

It measures about 2.00 inches wide [including the mounting lugs] x 1.35 inches x 1.50 inches high.  The connections are to solder tags on the top of the bobbin.

The rating of this type and size of transformer is usually around 2 - 3 watts.

The transformer is marked with a primary impedance of 5.6kΩ and a secondary impedance of 4Ω; I have measured DC resistance the both of the windings which are shown in photographs 9 and 10, as measured on a Peak LCR40 component analyser, [for info], and these should allow you to work out the ratio and parameters of this transformer. Unfortunately, there were no valves or model number plate on the chassis it was removed from.

This is an ideal opportunity to obtain one of these transformers, which are now becoming difficult to find, as a replacement for a missing or faulty transformer in a restoration project or just as an output transformer in a home constructed receiver or amplifier. This example is in very clean, tested condition; I have photographed the transformer so that you can see the condition of what is on offer. 

The condition and description can better be judged from the photographs which are of the actual output transformer on offer for sale.
