AUTHENTIC VINTAGE SEIKO DIVER 7002-700J WITH LOVELY CUSTOM MOTHER OF PEARL (MOP) Marinemaster DIAL AUTOMATIC MENS WATCH
Absolutely superb example of this iconic divers watch with the caliber 7002 movement which has 17 jewels and runs at 21,600 bph. It's a non-hacking movement like most traditional Seiko calibers and has a quickset date only calendar mechanism. By the late 1980s, Seiko had changed the case design of the divers from the earlier large cushion shape to a slimmed-down case. When the 7002 divers replaced the 6309s, they inherited the small case design from the 6309-7290. The 7002 series came out after the end of production of the 6309 series diver and ran from approx. 1988 to 1996. There are several different variations of the 7002 divers and this one the 7002-700J is identical to the others with the vintage divers distinctive look. This watch which from the serial number we can see was made in July 1994 has been lovingly restored and serviced by one of the most respected Seiko watch restorers and is looking stunning on a new Stainless Steel Jubilee Bracelet - a true iconic classic and a truly stunning watch.

DIAL: Replacement Modified Custom Mother of Pearl ‘Marinemaster 300’ Date Classic Dial with Luminous. Original re-painted Chapter Ring with Red Minute Markers. The dial and lume used on this watch was custom made by Lloyd Albelda who provides incredibly well modified dials.
HANDS: New Samurai Sword Hands set with Red Arrow Sweep Seconds.
CASE: Original case which has been lovingly polished. High grade Seiko Stainless Steel case, measures 42 mm. without crown, 45 mm. lug to lug. Case has just been buffed and polished and is in perfect condition.
CASE BACK: Original back case has been buffed and polished.
CRYSTAL: Original Buffed Crystal - clear and bright, with no marks of any kind (checked under magnification).
CROWN: Stainless Steel Screw to Lock Crown with new gasket. (Water resistant)
BEZEL: Original Bezel which rotates well with clicks. New Red GMT Bezel Insert With Minute Markers.
BRACELET: Brand new Stainless Steel Jubilee Bracelet with double lock which fits up to a 7.75 inch wrist.
FUNCTION: Time & Date.
MOVEMENT: Original Seiko 7002A Japanese Automatic Movement. 17 Jewels. The movement has been newly overhauled, cleaned, serviced, water sealed and regulated using a vibrograf.
SERVICE: Servicing, restoration and overhaul of this watch were all completed by a master Seiko watch restorer. All gaskets have been replaced before water resistance testing has been completed. The servicing carried out includes the following:
- Checking for parts authenticity.
- Overhauling.
- Cleaning.
- Lubricating.
- Testing movement against a timing machine.
- 5 Bar water pressure test.
