This is a 1963 Skipper doll, marked #2 on her bottom.  She definitely has a "test market" body, as the JAPAN stamp runs lengthwise on her right foot and she has a "wider stance."  Her head, however, does have an imprint on her neck rim (see photo)...so I am unsure if this was a "head switch."

Her hair is nice, shiny & thick.  Some flyaways, which is to be expected given the age of the doll.  Full plugs.  Full bangs.  Her face makeup is nice.  There is a rub to her lip paint.  Limbs are tight- nothing feels "swingy."  Looks like tiny pin pricks by her ears- see photo.  No green at all.  No splits.

She comes in her original swimsuit (nice vintage condition) and a pair of clean white Hong Kong flats.  NO stand included.

Please feel free to ask questions.  I've tried to describe her to the best of my ability and do not want anyone to be disappointed.  She's a lovely doll!
