Maker: This replacement lid for a round covered vegetable bowl is by the iconic Limoges maker Haviland

Design: The unmarked lid appears to be in the traditional pattern called Schleiger 1125, with a sculpted gold handle and two thin gold bands, but that is not confirmed. Its classic style would work with many other patterns by Haviland or other fine makers.

This listing is for the lid only - no bowl is included.

Haviland pattern identification disclaimer: The Haviland companies produced between 30,000 and 60,000 china patterns, many with only slight variations, and the identification of this item's pattern is not guaranteed. If you are trying to match a Haviland pattern, please check all the photos in this listing very carefully against your own items to be sure this is the right pattern for you.

Size: The lid is 8 1/2 inches wide. The rim that fits into the bowl is 7 1/2 inches inches wide. The lid weighs 1 pound.

Condition: It has no marks, nicks, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, crazing or significant wear. There is some wear to the gold handle and a small chip on the underside edge - these are shown in the photos with the red arrow. The chip is not visible when the lid is in place.

Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
