NOS/reconditioned Jaeger SN 6408/00 speedometer from a Triumph Herald T1200 & 12/50 (June 1966 onwards with 4.11:1 ratio diff and 5.20" x 13" tyres according to my Smiths catalogue) but please double check exact fitment. Although unused, this speedo had been poorly stored resulting in some rust to the casing and the drive was seized where the grease had dried out. Therefore it has been 'fully' stripped, all mechanical parts have been cleaned and relubricated where necessary. The casing has been blasted/painted. The speedo has also been bench tested and recalibrated (including remagnetizing the magnet as appropriate) so I can confirm it works correctly. There are a few light marks on the bezel and one 'tiny' dent at the 6 o'clock position (so shouldn't notice once fitted) when viewed very closely but otherwise all in excellent condition. Note that the odometer can be set to a specific mileage if required (please send me a message after payment has been made...... and before I crimp the bezel on!)

The Smiths part number on the face is SN 6408/00 followed by 1248 so please double check exact fitment as numerous variations were often fitted. The important number to note is the '1248' as this relates to the calibration and internal gearing of the speedometer and needs to be correct for your vehicle (including diff ratio, tyre size etc).

COMBINED POSTAGE: I’m happy to combine postage for multiple purchases, please add the items to your shopping basket/cart, then go to the cart and there should be an option to 'request total' at the top.

WORLDWIDE POSTAGE: Please see the “postage and payments” tab for international shipping price.

Ebay pictures: I never use library pictures, the item pictured in the listing is the actual item you will receive.

Ebay product ratings (buyer reviews): Please disregard any product ratings on my selling pages. These are automatically linked by ebay and I have noticed 'many' reviews that relate to poor quality reproduction (also damaged/faulty/untested etc) items from other sellers - 'all' the items I sell are fully tested genuine/original items.

Buyers in the UK HIGHLANDS / ISLANDS: If specified postage is via Royal Mail then these locations are included. If specified postage is via a courier then please contact me for postage cost as these locations are possibly ‘not’ included.

Thank you for looking and good luck
