Movement:
S/N 33809, 7
Jewel Elgin 18/0 Movement, It has a good mainspring and a good balance. The
movement has been Recently Serviced (12/2022), it fully winds and sets as it
should. It has been fully wound and running and keeping excellent time for 24
Hours in the Dial Up and Dial Down positions.
Over the years
I’ve seen a few of these 5 digit s/n’s, I have yet to find a way to date them,
production of the 7 jewel, 18/0 movement did begin in 1927….for whatever that
is worth.
The Two-Piece Duro
Case is New Old Stock. There are no markings on the case, but it is a safe
assumption that it’s at least 10K Yellow RGP (stainless back), it measures 36mm's
Long from Lug Tip to Tip and 22mm's Wide, not including the Crown.

Crystal, Dial
and Band:
Crystal: The Glass
Crystal is flawless, clean and clear.
Dial: The Elgin Signed
Rose Dial is in Excellent Condition with one small speck that is barely visible
with the naked eye.
Band: The Band is a Brand
New 14mm Chocolate Brown Stitched Leather Band, The band with the watch
measures 6.75 inches from the buckle to the third hole.
