Up for sale is a delightful, antique Victorian era (circa 1880 to 1900) solid sterling silver and natural black banded agate brooch pin. The banded agate gem is a beautiful gemological specimen, simply superb.

It is 100% original and antique.

The brooch pin is around 3.7 cm (37mm) long by 3.0cm (30mm) tall by around (0.9cm) (9mm) deep including the original pin, which is steel, typical for the time as the actual pins needed to be made from stronger steel metal to push through the heavier clothing materials worn at the time (circa 1880s)

The brooch pin is not marked and has been tested and is guaranteed to be solid sterling silver and natural banded agate, not hollow, lined, plated or filled.

Perfectly beautiful and stylish.

Beautifully hand made setting with delightful complete and original prong setting keeping the stone very secure.

Perfect for gemological "specimen" Victorian era jewellery collectors.

Total weight of this brooch pin is around 11.98 grams.

Beautiful and guaranteed to get compliments when worn. Beautiful for a scarf pin.
