Vintage Tinplate Clockwork 2 Boys On a Seesaw
Toy, Prestyn. England
 
A vintage tinplate clockwork toy consisting of 2 boys
on a seesaw, one dressed in a blue shirt with red shorts
and the other in a red shirt with blue shorts, siting on
a tinplate wood-grain effect seesaw on a red base,
made by the Prestyn Co. in England probably
in the 1950’s or 60’s.
 
The seesaw measures 12 inches long by 2 wide and 5.5
 inches tall (with one end raised) and is in very good to
excellent working condition with minor playwear
 and some fading. When wound (key not supplied,
 but tested with one that fits) the clockwork motor
works well, moving the seesaw up and down
in a realistic action. This continues until the motor
 runs down. Marked underneath with “Prestyn”
and “Made in England”.
