Rare antique Chinese silk Kesi weaving adult robe, estate find. Please note this piece is sold in as-found condition, be sure to see all photos! Measures 27 inches across under sleeves and 38 inches from top of shoulders to hem, approximately 62 inches from sleeves end to end. I do not recommend this piece actually be worn as it is very old but can be enjoyed added to a collection or display.

Overall good condition for age and delicate materials, the pattern and colors are crisp and it presents beautifully. 100% genuine woven silk and hand painted accents, with numerous small roundels of cranes & flowers. Numerous bats, Buddhist symbols, 10 dragons, and a large lotus at inside panel of robe. Light blue silk liner and black silk satin trim at collar and frog closures. A stunning and collectible piece! I have not attempted to steam or fix this piece at all, it is in original as found condition. No smells. There are fold lines as pictured, several areas where the roundels / individual designs are separated from the red silk, some light stains & spots to liner. At the back of collar and tops of shoulders and sleeves there is some separation and tears to the silk as shown. The largest area is at back left side of collar and it feels stiff below the tear, like someone used fabric glue to try to prevent further damage. Also an area at top of right shoulder where dragon design is separating as shown. There is no color change to these areas but it is a little stiff with minor damage as noted. Other small areas of wear throughout, I have tried to picture all so please see all photos. Ships safely packaged and insured.
