This vintage made in Japan Seiko wristwatch dates back to the 1980s based on the manufacture period of its movement. The textured gold tone gradient colored dial, which is protected by a faceted acrylic crystal, is complemented by baton indexes. The hands are lumed with non radioactive paint which glows green after being exposed to light . The gold plated case is closed with a screw-type case back (case measurements are in the photos). The timepiece is powered by a 17-jewel mechanical automatic movement Seiko caliber 6309 that is running and would benefit from being serviced (see timegrapher photo).

Bracelet or strap:

A gold plated bracelet with a Seiko signed tri fold clasp is paired with the watch and should fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist based on bracelet gauge measurements.

Functionality:

Automatic winding is quiet and effective. Hand setting is smooth with crown in third position. Day and date change over at midnight and can be quick set with the crown in second position.

Flaws:

Service is recommended to obtain accurate timekeeping. Wear throughout the watch can be seen in the photos.
