Embossed hardcover with green cloth --- gold lettering --- gold and black stamping (wear to the gold on front and spine)
Marbled endpapers and edges of text block
Cover with shelf wear, soiling, bumping and wear to corners and ends of spine
Spine and back cover with heavier soiling and color fading --- some lifting to the cloth on spine
Rear hinge cracked and reinforced with bookbinder's tape on the endpapers and at gutter on p. 800 (last 2 photos)
800 pages --- several pages with a corner or edge tear --- age tanning around page edges
Water stain in upper corner of pages from p. 75 onward --- most apparent on the color illustration pages and stain is confined mostly to the margins and barely impinges the images --- on the text pages it appears as darker tanning
Around 8 1/4" x 10" x 3 1/4" and weighs 6 1/4 lbs.
