Heavrin.  Published by The Astragal Press  Mendham New Jersey   1998   173 pages.  This book covers many varieties - stone axes, bronze axes, early iron axes, trade axes, tomahawks, falling axes, broad axes, hewing axes, coopers axes, goosewing, etc.  Has one chapter on American axe manufacturers - Collins, Mann, American Axe & Tool, Kelly.

2.  AMERICAN AXE  -  THE TOOL THAT SHAPED THE CONTINENT.  By Brett McLeod.  Published by Storey Publishing  North Adams Massachusetts.   2020   191 pages.  This book wonderfully illustrated in color - written by an axe collector.  

The first blank page of the first book has a small label from the previous owner.

Otherwise excellent condition overall.  (Second book is brand new.)  No interior markings or stains.  No torn or bent pages.  No library markings.  Bindings sound.   All text and photos clean and clear.  Covers and spine excellent also.  See photos please.
