Up for sale is a Coraline Production Used Briefcase Prop - and a similar one can be seen being carried by Coraline's father, as he walks to work.  This prop was made during the production of the film, Coraline, directed by the stop-motion legend, Henry Selick.

This item will not be accompanied by a CoA, as I received it directly from an acquaintance who took part in the making of the film, and was explicitly told it was screen used*.  Looking at the photos above, it's very hard to deny the resemblances:

1) matching overlapping circle pattern
2) matching handle/lock area

If you're a Coraline prop collector, you know how hard Coraline props are to come by, and it's only getting harder as time progresses.  Wish I didn't have to let this go, but currently in a position where I have to clear some things out;  honestly, just listing this at the moment to test the waters, might end up just keeping it.

*Disclaimer:  At times, it can be difficult to 100% ascertain screen use of a movie prop (even for professionals and high end auction websites.  It's just that I'm honest and up front about it), as items age, and paint fades.  There are also multiple shots with multiple copies of each prop (sometimes altered in a way to suit the shot), within a scene, so it's very hard to tell.  My personal opinion is that it is NOT the one used where he is in front of the store, as the hinge area does not match.  I was explicitly told it was screen used by the person who had originally received it, and worked on the film, but I wanted to add this note, as I value transparency as a seller.  I cannot, as someone in my position, tell you that 100000%, without a shred of doubt, this item is screen used.  I would have had to get it directly from the animator myself, right after they used it for filming, in order to give you that guarantee.  I can, however, say with absolute 100% certainty that it was made during production, so please purchase at your own discretion.  Please be aware that due to age, this item may exhibit signs of natural wear or lack of functionality.  Color may be inaccurate, due to camera
