Sculptor George Carruth introduced "Purrfect Pals", a cast statue of a dozing cat and mouse, in 2000. The sculpture features a sleeping cat with its smaller friend, a field mouse, lazing in the warmth of its fur.

The sculpture measures approximately 7 inches by 6 and 3 inches high to the tips of the cat's ears. Made of Carruth's "cast stone" cement, it weighs in at roughly six pounds.

The detail is great throughout. However, there appear to be some bubbles from the casting process; you can see these in the pics. They are not wear, as Carruth's signature gray paint is over them. The brown shades are also paint applied at the studio.

This feline and mousy friend make a great accent piece for around the house or a wonderful addition to a pet memorial garden.

Please check shipping before bidding, as the weight of this piece will be a factor in the cost. A fixed rate of $18.40 can be applied to the listing; I can’t seem to it as an option for shipping, but I will make it available.

Please look at the pics carefully and email with questions.
