This tea cup is inspired by the Kinkakuji Temple, a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan


Handcrafted with intricate detailing, this shows the true essence of Japanese craftsmanship.


It is a beautiful deep blue with white speckles, having a black base and adorned with gold accents in perfect condition, reminiscent of the golden pavilion of Kinkakuji Temple.  It is made with indentations for secure grasping.


The interior of the cup is unglazed except for around the rim.


Positively no chips, cracks or crazing. Was used for display only in a cabinet. 


Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches across.


This cup is perfect for the collector needing just one replacement cup, for anyone looking to start a collection or who just loves the look of Japanese pottery/porcelain for their home décor.
