** I am not a camping person but, here are some measurements: 

The lower padded belt that goes around your Waist or  hips???

Smallest length = 33" with it buckled

Extends out to  = 45" with it buckled

The length of the backpack is about 33"

The width is about 17"

The depth is about 14.5"

>>> OVER ALL I think this backpack is in decent, useable condition.

>>>> It has been used. I did NOT wash it. There are some areas inside the lining that have blemishes.

Probably take a damp cloth and wipe the inside.
