A Highly Illuminated Blank Islamic Bifolium, 4 blank pages total.

Probably having been prepared for manuscript of Ottoman origin, Late 18th to Early 19th century, Türkiye, Turkey.

Very Beautiful gilt decoration, neatly executed and ready for a calligrapher's pen.

Size: ~11⅓" x 15⅛" (~29.5 x 38.4 cm.)

An excellent example of manuscript page gilt decoration, structure and geometry for the calligraphers hand to fill in. Excellent study piece.

The folded paper has a small hole on the binding fold, exhibits some creasing, edge wear and small stains. Suitable for framing.
