Really interesting lot consisting of a stamped library card dated August 1943 for the book "Hiawatha" on the S.S Lorient, together with the actual book the card relates to. (I found the card inside the book.) The book looks to have gone on a very long journey as it was passed from ship to ship, with each ships stamp on the card documenting the books whereabouts. I've never come across anything quite like it during my time selling books. The book itself has a sticker inside front detailing instructions for the safety of the book from the Ship's Library.

Book Condition: Hardcovers in good condition with slight signs of age, some faded tape marks to publishers page and introduction page, a few loose pages towards front of book, rest of pages good with some slight finger marks in places.
