Two volumes, with heavily scuffed and torn leather binding, and black spine covering. In first volume, front free end paper detached, some separation noted at top between pages 288 and 289. In second volume, front free end paper detached, and binding entirely split between pages 502 and 503, with adjacent pages almost detached. Foxing to pages. (See pictures.)
