According to mego museum:

" ... Both type 1 and type 2 versions of Long John Silver have a unique feature not on any other Mego figures, a peg leg. It should be noted that for some reason which leg has the peg changed from left leg (type 1) to right leg (type 2) ..."

Seems like this right side Type 1 Leg is a rare variation.

The leg was salvaged from a body marked "Mego Corp / Reg. U.S.A. Pat. Off. / Pat. Pending / Hong Kong / MCMLXXI".

This item is in PLAYED WITH CONDITION and we consider all sales FINAL.
