Vintage (new old stock) bronze cast seal of Shema Megiddo Lion, an interpretive item from Biblical Judean history. Mid-20th Century bronze replica of an enlarged impression of a jasper seal showing a standing figure of roaring lion bearing a Hebrew inscription. The seal was found in the 1904 excavations at Megiddo and became known as the Lion of Megiddo, but was lost subsequently. The only trace of it, one of the most splendid of Hebrew seals, is a bronze cast.
This is a copy of that bronze cast, with a green felt bottom. It measures approximately 3-1/4" x 2-3/8".  In its original box.

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have, as there are no returns.  I will ship your Lion of Megiddo replica within 1-2 days of receiving your cleared payment.  Thank you!
