Rare cutlery chest for 160 pieces. Cutlery

Description

The huge cutlery tray/chest made of solid wood, probably oak, is equipped with four pull-out drawers and is ideal for storing cutlery for 12 people. The inside of the chest is made of felt and has pockets for approx. 160 pieces Cutlery prepared. Front with doors with a lock (key provided). All drawers are also labeled with corresponding cutlery items.

Very decorative! Quality old version! 


The box is approx. 51.5 x 40.5 x 42.5 (height) cm. large.


It is equipped with the following pockets:

1. Drawer:

Spoons/forks: ever. 12 x 20.3 / 21 cm.

Knife: each. 12x25.5cm. long.

2. Drawer:

Knife: 12 x 21.3 cm.

Spoons/forks/fish cutlery: ever. 12 x 18.3 / 18.3 / 21.5 cm.

3. Drawer:

Knife: 12 x 17.2 cm.

Spoons/forks: ever. 12 x 14.3 / 13.5 / 15 / 10.5cm.

2 salads with 2 spoons.

4. Drawer:

Approx. 16 serving pieces (or more).

In total for 160 pieces of cutlery plus salting.


It is in used condition, with usual signs of age and wear, scratches, stains, etc. The underbody has two cracks that you can't notice as long as the box is upright. The key is present and the lock works. The latches in the left door are a little difficult to operate (probably rusty), but they also work  (see photos). Ready for immediate use.
