This listing is for a brand new in the box by Alessi Todo Cheese & Nutmeg Giant  Grater made in Italy designed by Richard Sapper. This item is brand new. Still has factory wrappings as shown in pics. We have also included a stock photo so you can see the item in use and in its entirety. We did not want to unwrap the item.

Measures 4"x 4 "x 18" tall and it's made of stainless steel and wood.

Anything else the "Todo” grater has a truncated cone shaft that is exceptionally long and will grate enough cheese to satisfy the requirements for one portion just with one complete stroke. An excellent example of an object to exhibit on the table or in the kitchen, but at the same time it boasts a precise, state-of-the-art functional performance that just about transforms into playful gestural expressiveness one of the most boring and least qualifying culinary operations.

This giant cheese grater came from one of Richard Sappers personal needs. In his family, the job of grating cheese falls on his shoulders. Being rather large in stature, however, he has always found it difficult to use the standard size graders commonly available on the market; they were too small. So he designed this very large one. Pass the cheese once or twice over the grader and you'll have as much as you need for an entire plate.
