Bike now sold - subject to it being collected.

Here is my 1962 Harley-Davidson Duo-Glide FLH. Beautiful old girl. Starts n runs nice. Lots of original bits (tanks for starters), but also has some repro parts due to age/wear. Currently fitted with an auto-advance timer for ease of use, but comes with a fully rebuilt two point manual timer and the cable and control are ready to re-attach, so if you wanted to go that way then all good. I don't have a Linkert M74B (can help find one if you're keen) and it’s currently fitted with a S&S shorty. Has the solo seat currently, but also comes with a buddy seat and pegs. Is fitted with the right Speedster bars (internal controls etc), spotlights, spotlight flasher button etc. Has original style wiring. Belly numbers match and frame date stamp is k1 - so November 1961.

Bad points? Nothing unusual. It will wet sump occasionally if left to stand for months (as they do). Its probably not perfectly oil tight (the tin primaries on these are all less than oil tight). Could do with use really as i don't ride it as much as i used to. Other than that its all good.

Why am i selling? Too many bikes and this one doesn't get ridden as often as it deserves these days (hip aint what it was), so time to pass onto the next custodian.

There are some spares that might come with it depending on price, including the aforementioned twin point timer, plus some crash bars, coil cover, original dynamo (has a combined dynamo/digital regulator fitted currently for reliability), buddy seat, buddy seat pegs, original dash and chrome period dash guard, toolbox.

I haven't priced it at fantasy level and you're welcome to make me an offer, but nothing silly please. A decent Duo Glide is not that easy to find now and i'm in no rush to sell this one. If your offer is accepted then that acceptance is a contract to buy, not an option to view and haggle. Please come look before making an offer - just pre-arrange first please. If your offer is automatically rejected then its quite simply not enough.

For enquiries, please message through eBay first with your details and I’ll get back to you. Thanks
