Here we have an original watercolor painting by American artist Ruth E. Sietman (bio below). This painting depicts the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Tennessee and is likely from 1977. A note on the back dates the piece to the 1950s while the signature shows '77.' Based on the author's biography the late 70s seems more likely. The piece is framed and under glass. The frame is made from plaster and dates earlier. It measures approximately 15 inches by 15 inches. Good vintage condition. There is an old crack to the bottom of the plaster frame.

After she married she moved to Rocky River, and then finished raising her family in Brecksville, Ohio. Later on, she and Herbert moved to Greeneville, Tennessee.
