For sale is a Gibson 490T Bridge pickup, this is cut off from a Gibson Metallic green SG special 2001, it only has the ground sheath and center cable and is not suitable for coil tapping. Roughly one inch of the cable was cut to remove it from a guitar.

The surface of the plastic has been scratched and is worn, please see the photo for details. (It is possible to buff the plastic some which is what some resellers do with old plastic covered pickups like these.)

It sounds great and can be a cheap way to get this iconic Gibson sound. It comes in the case of another Gibson pickup. It comes with 2 mounting screws and springs. 

Ships in a Gibson pickup case that may have some damage or labeling that is not for this pickup. ( In this case the box says 498T it is not a 498T, this is just a spare box I have.)
