The battery supplied is used and possibly in excess of 10years old.  It is a consumable item.  While it may hold a charge, do not expect it to last long.  If you wish to use this camcorder  on batteries without the supplied DC power supply plugged into the mains, you will likely need to purchase a new battery.  Batteries are available online cheaply from all good online shopping platforms.Photographs are of the actual items I'm selling.  If accessories are not shown in the listing photos, do not assume they are included.
