A private sale of this RHD 1972 Jensen Interceptor 111, 6.3L, 3 speed automatic.

Regrettably being released from a collection that needs to be reduced a little.

ULEZ compliant, tax & mot free.

Having had a previous mild restoration around 30 years ago it’s held up extremely well with extensive service work carried out recently, it presents & performs very nicely.

The largest & most recent servicing includes a gearbox rebuild at the cost of £1300, a brake overhaul & brand new tyres all round on 10th April. Oil, plugs, leads, fuel pipes & electronic fuel pump have all been replaced recently too.

Drive is amazing with a strong note from the Mopar V8 power plant with a four barrel Holley carb, coupled to a twin pipe stainless steel exhaust system.

All pressures are instantly accurate & will run all day without a fuss.

Sumptuous interior is very comfortable, dials & switches aplenty, combined with its natural clean but nostalgic aroma, the cabin is a great place to be. There’s no nasty rips, tears, splits or cracks to be found.

Features full leather, power steering, cushioned headrests, electric windows, AM/FM period radio, remote alarm, tailor-made waterproof cover, JOC mats & some lovely collectible literature (please see photos).

This is not a fully blown concours show car but neither is it concours money.

Paint has aged a little in places but is generally very clean & straight & there are no rust issues, just a small amount of flaking at the sill ends and a very small amount of bubbling under paint in lower doors but you have to look for it.

Passenger door sticks a bit from time to time but other than that, it’s pretty good with no issues of major concern. I'll have a look at the door at the earliest given opportunity.

There are no horrible leaks, knocks, bangs, pinking or smoke.

Everything functions as it should other than the AC which is decommissioned.

To summarise; it’s on the button & ready to go & be enjoyed with a plethora of history, books & a current V5.

A lengthy test drive is highly encouraged with inspection welcome.

Private plate included in sale, original factory stickers & build plate are a nice touch.

It’s a striking, iconic car & you don’t get far in it without someone wanting to have a conversation regarding & admiring it.

£29995 or near offer, I am willing to listen to sensible offers but don't wish to part exchange or swap.

Shipping and delivery can be arranged.

Please drop me a message or call to discuss.
