Rare, Hermes necktie, Made in France. Hand-stitched especially for the champagne “House of Superlative Quality”, the legendary, G.H. Munn & Co. (Pour G.H. Mumm & Co), 100% Silk. “Only the Best”

This necktie is apparently a result of these two fine companies collaborating.

NOTE: I don’t know any details of the collaboration or event or what sparked the joining of labels but this is a fun and celebratory tie marking it. I have researched extensively but still cannot find the dates and details of the collaboration. This is what makes me believe it is a rare find. Please do your own research as you may uncover the details.

UPDATE!!!!!

I have learned recently this tie was probably 1 of only approximately 100 made. Mumm made a deal w/luxury brand Hermes as an award & marketing. This took place over 25+ years ago so estimate is somewhere around the mid 1990’s. I’ve come across one winner of these ties who stated he was awarded one of these neckties for Winner of Best in Philly for Best Wine List & Cellar. 5 were awarded to restaurant recipients. I’ll continue to update as I possibly learn more w/this new information.

This Hermes tie has a navy background with light green (minty/sage-y) colored champagne bottles and flutes. The liquid in the flutes is a light sort of golden tone yellow. Each champagne bottle and flute is encircled or intertwined with a loose festive red ribbon.

No rips, snags, stains, nor tears. Ships from a smoke free and pet free home.

Possibly the only tie you and I will ever find like this.
