"Certain Brief Conclusions from Selected Letters of Lambert Wood" is an 80 page, 6"x9.25" hardcover published in 1939 by Binfords & Mort (Portland, OR). It consists of letters written by Wood as he served in France with the American Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He fought at Chateau-Thierry and the recapture of Vaux, and died in combat two days after posting the final letter. His mother Elizabeth Lambert Wood, a popular Oregon-based author, issued the book as a memorial some two decades later. There's a tipped-in portrait of Lambert opposite the title page.

The book is in very good condition, with no dust jacket (as issued). The cloth-backed boards show minimal wear. The title label on the spine is pealing up at the bottom right corner. There are ownership marks to the front pastedown and ffep (which has an additional small pencil mark).
